The new online store, thecricketgroundshop.co.uk, has been launched to offer cricket club management and groundsmen a ‘one-stop shop’ where they can purchase an extensive range of products including playing surfaces, ground covers, ground equipment and more.
Carrying stock that has been carefully selected for its quality thecricketgroundshop.co.uk is the exclusive online shopping venue for Climate Cover products; an innovative range of flat sheets, raised covers, hybrid solutions and germination covers. It also enables the online purchase of a comprehensive range of pitches and components to suit every ground, budget and performance requirement alongside essential equipment for ground maintenance, practice and play.
The site is the brainchild of David Bates, MD of total-play Ltd which developed the Climate Cover range of products alongside its range of non-turf playing pitches, including the ECB approved system tp365, and is an ECB non-turf pitch code of practice installer. David says: “While there are a number of online stores that sell cricket related items, none specialise in the full range of products involved with ground management. As a former cricketer and groundsman, I understand the need for having a regular, reliable supplier for such items -thecricketgroundshop.co.uk will offer this alongside the convenience of being able to place orders and make payments online.
