Climate Cover launches innovative, new cricket cover products
Climate Cover Ltd is pleased to introduce the new Cricket Pitch Tunnel and the Bio-Cell pitch covering solution.
The ‘Cricket Pitch Tunnel’ is designed to provide clubs with an ‘under cover area’ which allows the working groundsman to carry out day to day pitch maintenance operations. Additional enhancements can be included such as lighting and heating systems which all help to accelerate and maximise pitch preparation times. Under cover practice sessions will of course also benefit the cricketer.
With a waterproof translucent membrane to cover the framework, the Cricket Pitch Tunnel provides the lightest truly portable building. The system can be folded and packed into extremely small spaces and have been designed for easy deployment and transportation with the use of a mechanical reel with minimal labour.
The Bio-Cell system is a hybrid of a raised and a flat sheet cover. Made from the same fabric as Climate Cover SystemTM it is the next generation of natural sports turf covering systems. The Bio-Cell is a super strong and lightweight structure capable of being used as a flat sheet cover but with all the benefits of a raised structure. The design incorporates a dual membrane making a low pressure structure capable of covering winter games pitches, tennis courts or cricket pitches. It benefits any natural sports surface by allowing sunlight to reach the grass plant. Temperatures beneath the Bio-Cell can be regulated and therefore provides a system whereby the drying of the surface can be controlled.
The cover is simple to transport and self deploys in only four minutes. With minimal storage space requirements the Bio-Cell is a simple solution for pitch covering.
